Giant Dino Snake!

Okay, I like reptiles, and the bigger the better in my estimation. I just ran across this cool article about a giant 2500 pound snake called a Titanoboa. This gargantuan snake was 43 feet long and it ate crocodiles! I just had to share this cool discovery with everyone. If you want more on this magnificent snake, read the full article HERE.

Wow, what a monster! This gives me some inspiration for one of my future books, but I can't say how yet. ;-)

Thanks for the post.

2500 lbs? I like my reptiles a little smaller, LOL. I live in Arizona and I have some nice lizard friends on the back porch, but they do not eat alligators!
I was thinking the same way Robert was -mmm where could I add that snake to my WIP :)
Thanks for sharing!

Hi Robert,
Yeah, its inspiring for me as well!

Hi gzusfreek,
haha, yeah, I figured most individuals would like their reptiles a wee bit smaller.

2500 POUNDS! Insane. I cannot even imagine what this would have looked like. The crocodile eating snake. So all those cheesy B movies about giant snakes - true? : )

Hi Alexander
News release: Anaconda 5: Rise of the Dino Snake hits low budget B movie film festivals everywhere.

Very nice. Perhaps I should give these flicks a bit more credibility from now on! Doesn't mean I'll go see Anaconda 5...

What I will see is Jurassic Park 4...JP is my Rocky.

holy crap! I just imagined this thing slithering toward me with a gaping mouth. I think it´d almost be longer than my entire apartment!

Hi Dustin :)
Yeah! According to the article, this thing would have to constrict and squeeze just to go through a door in your house...now that's a wide load!

It would make an interesting story. How 'bout a contest?

Brandon Barr said...

Hey Andra,
Ha, a contest huh? That would be a cool anthology...
Actually, Rogue Blade Entertainment has a cool looking antho called "Rage of the Behemoth". Looks pretty cool too.
